oh yeah

NO PINK.

thank you.

you may now resume your regularly scheduled programme.

And um, since she's signed surrender papers, and told US not to worry (bless her heart), I am allowing myself a trip to that that scary place.with.paraphanelia.for.babies....

I'll report later. And I'll share more news later, too. I have a HUGE amount of stuff to do at work to get ready to be gone for the tour, and after. The faboo news is that both bosses are thrilled, and we'll all work out a game plan together.

PHEW.

And oh yes, we did not meet the baby today, we'll meet her on placement. Just fyi.

Thanks again, internets - your support has TRULY helped us more than you can even imagine!

Shelli, OMG! Mazel Tov!!! I have been obsessively following your journey since FF (I was dejavu) and I am soooo thrilled for you. Have you picked a Hebrew name as well? I just had a baby girl too .. so in a strange way, we are Mommies together of new (and Jewish) little girls. I can't wait to hear more updates. Enjoy your last days as a couple before everything changes in wonderful ways, Mommy!

Ok so I thought all of those people who said your posts made them cry were a bit silly - but here I sit now crying for you! I am so so so so happy. This is wonderful news! The universe has a way of making things work just as they were meant to and I know this wonderful beautiful baby girl was meant for the two of you.

My heart is filled with happiness for the two of you!

Love, Jennifer

Don't worry, we're not pink fans either, so no pink from us! And in respect of your traditions, I promise I won't put anything in the post until you have her in your arms :)

This is so exciting! Congratulations.

When we first found out we were pg, I didn't want to know if it was a boy or a girl.

My sis promptly declared that we could have a girl or a drag queen and sent shocking pink & silver booties and pink "starter chopsticks" (with thumbrests).

Now, I am by no means an advocate of 'pink for girls,' but I'm just not sure the boy with the lesbian moms should be stuck in pink & silver booties before he can even express an opinion about it. So if you change your mind and want hot pink & silver booties...you know who to ask. :)
