Now, as most of you know, we don't use the internets on Shabbat, but since we have to do a bit of on-line comparrison shopping for a few items, we made a wee exception. (insert big wide grin here!)
I received an e-mail today from a most generous soul who has offered her talented services at doing some quilt coordinating. Now if you had sent them directly to me, it may have taken me ages to piece the top together and do the quilting, and you, you wonderful lovely internets, would not have had a chance to see said finished quilt for QUITE.SOME.TIME.
Instead, I have been blessed with the gift of a free offer from a quilter (I'm in the beginning catagory, she's an expert) and so if you would like to send a quilt square for quilt for our daughter (EEK. We have a daughter!), please go visit this site: Quilt squares
And THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU to all of you.
We're still so.just.wow.
xoxox,
Shelli

Oooh how amazing of this woman!
You are TOTALLY getting a quilt square (or two) from me/us.
I wish I knew how to do it. Instead you will just have to settle for my good wishes and prayers for your family :)
I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am for you both!
Shabbat Shalom!
First I just read the news... I am so happy for you and Narda... my goodness a little girl.. can't wait for the 16th to hurry up and get her and you two to have her in your arms. Sending a ton of prayers and grinning from ear to ear.
This would be fun, but I don't think I quite understand what it should look like...any examples anyone?
ANYTHING you like - it will be a rainbow quilt, a technicolor dream quilt, if you will! :) Whatever your skill or fancy is FINE - we want a blending of squares that make up the diversity of people that have been rooting for her for 3 years.
Anything will be fine, as long as its from you.
