Life ramblings and the journey through adoption.I am swamped at work, and we are trying to perfect our "dear Birthmother" letter, which will enable a woman, who is pregnant with child, to choose us, a bi-racial, Jewish lesbian couple to raise her child. SO you can see why we are on draft 392. It's been about 6 months since we began the whole adoption process, and I enjoy the scrapbooking part the best-that's where we take a slice of our lives and put it to paper. like here:
I like scrapbooking, but this is a bit obsessive, as we want it to be just perfect. At some point, we just have to let go of the whole process and have some faith...

Oh, my, I had NO idea there would be scrapbooking involved if we pursue adoption. Yikes! I love taking pictures but we're NEVER both in them, and this will probably send up some sort of alert to the adoption folks that we don't like each other or something.
I love finding new things to worry about. Fortunately for me, it isn't hard to do!
